Rock Lobster Fishing
Cape Jaffa today is a thriving rock lobster fishing port with wholesalers exporting all over the world. During the peak of the season (October until end of May) up to 30 fishing boats can be seen moored at the Jetty in the relatively sheltered waters of Lacepede Bay. Fresh Lobster can be purchased from the wholesalers near the Jetty and the Caravan Park has a special crayfish cooking facility.
Mount Benson Wine Region
Cape Jaffa is also the gateway to the burgeoning Mount Benson Wine Region which currently boasts 7 cellar door outlets. The start of the wine trail is just a short 10 minute drive from Cape Jaffa.

Water Sports & Marine Animal Viewing
Staying at the Cape provides the ultimate beach holiday escape, offering plenty of scope for many water activities such as fishing, scuba diving over the wonderful reefs and snorkelling around the very safe swimming beach. Seals, dolphins and penguins can often be seen close to shore.
Four Wheel Driving & Bushwalking
There are lots of opportunities for bush walking or four wheel driving. It is legal in this part of S.A to drive upon the beach and many people take the opportunity during the summer months for a beautiful four wheel driving experience on the beach between Kingston and Cape Jaffa.
The Caravan Park has lovely shady generous sized grassed sights. If you just want to simply sit and relax the only noise that you will hear is from the abundant native bird life living in the park.
